By joining us you will take part in the software development of this CD product designed by reusing the modern open-source components available on the market, integrating them and completing with our own code with the goal of productization.

As a Software Engineer your job is to:

• Design, implement & maintain the software product by integrating already existing open-source or Nokia internal components plus developing new components to reach the aimed functionalities.
• Be involved in all phases of a development lifecycle: understand and analyze product requirements; develop new software code; and finally take part in testing and verification.
• Participate in the teamwork following Agile/Scrum practices: You will estimate work amounts in own area, participate in detail work planning’s and develop the tasks as a result of these.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and environments
• Daily cooperation with other Nokia teams worldwide

The ideal candidate should be in possession of most of the following technical skills:

• Education: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Engineering or related fields.
• Linux configuration and scripting skills with the ability to run/configure applications on Linux
• Experience in Go language (or Python )
• Understanding and some hands-on knowledge of container technologies (K8S, Docker, HELM)
• Knowledge of Jenkins based CI/CD environment
