The Field Performance and Incentives team is responsible for end-to-end design and oversight of our incentive strategy, platform, and experience. We explore compensation design options that consider every aspect of our business, including advisor roles and responsibilities, advisor development and transitions, attraction and retention, business channel alignment, industry peers and benchmarks, regulatory and statutory requirements, client pricing and discounting, business practices and conduct, equitable opportunity, as well as connection to other J.P. Morgan communities including Investment Banking, Consumer Banking, and the Private Bank.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive prioritization, implementation and measurement of key priorities, goals, and targets for the business that includes managing projects that impact Advisors and their management across multiple stakeholders
- Drive strategic solutions to solve real-world client, Advisor, and operational challenges; build out multi-year product roadmap and translate strategy into actionable deliverables
- Generate ideas for continuous improvement and process improvements to promote productivity, efficiency, and increased collaboration.
- Own and prioritize system changes with coordination between our strategic objectives and technical requirements. Be a decision maker in determining trade-offs based on known considerations.
- Work with technical teams aligned to Advisor Compensation and other areas to confirm the output delivered meets expectations; have a client-centric and Advisor-focused mindset to create thoughtful solutions.
- Develop implementation project plans and collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to execute on them. Track project progress and report effectively on status, barriers, and changes. Identify risks and escalate issues quickly and appropriately.
- Prepare executive reports, presentations and communications for variety of audience and constitutes including Senior Management and Leadership, among other stakeholders
- Manage a large group of direct and indirect product team members, including product analysts, data owners, data architects, tech leads, agile leads, and engineering scrum teams.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 10+ years of experience in project management and/or strategic execution within the financial services industry, preferably in a wealth management or investments organizations
- Able to balance multiple priorities; has a strong attention to detail and exercises a control-oriented mindset
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and honesty – seek out the truth and ground decisions in the facts
- Comfortable with ambiguity, ability to act independently, demonstrate leadership and take initiative based on a set of consistent principles. Works equally well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
- Thinks analytically and logically to understand and analyze complex business processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of concision and brevity
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; adept at presenting to large and small groups, and has the ability to interact with colleagues and leaders at all levels and achieve goals.
