Three or more years’ experience vetting scripts and cuts, and advising creative and business teams, from development through distribution, on potential defamation, privacy, copyright, right-of-publicity, and trademark issues arising from show or film content.
Five or more years’ experience practicing law.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Established, strong relationships within the entertainment industry.
Ideally, experience with cutting-edge integration and digital media initiatives, as well as an interest in emerging technologies.
Drafting experience also is preferred.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and joy in working collaboratively on cross-functional teams.
