Job Summary

Job responsibilities

  • Work as part of the PM team to help formulate and implement investment strategy for the European money market mutual funds.
  • Help facilitate activities such as cash management, portfolio and risk monitoring, and trade execution and posting.
  • Work closely with Client Advisors and Investment Specialists to communicate strategy, objectives and performance to internal partners and external clients.
  • Collaborate with global credit research team, independent risk and other key stakeholders to support idea generation, understand key risk factors and drive portfolio analysis.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven ability to successfully work in a team environment and collaborate across groups.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, operate in an efficient manner and make decisions in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of short-tenor fixed income markets and securities.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient in Bloomberg, Microsoft Office and trading and portfolio management systems (such as Tradeweb and MarketAxess) is a plus but not required.
  • CFA or advanced degree a plus but not a requirement.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
