Data Scientist. Senior

Perform data science and data modeling duties in furtherance of analysis, manipulation, and processing of large data sets; build data models that enable detection of anomalies; work with end to end data science pipeline in both algorithmic and operational ways, including data labeling, modeling, model testing and monitoring; apply feature selection algorithms to models predicting outcomes; apply sampling techniques to determine groups to be surveyed or use complete enumeration methods; clean and manipulate raw data using statistical software; compare models using statistical performance metrics; create graphs, charts, or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis; deliver results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to stakeholders; test, validate, and reformulate models to ensure accurate prediction of outcomes; write new functions to conduct analyses. Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Statistical Science, Operations Research, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related data analysis role.

Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Statistical Science, Operations Research, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering, plus 5 years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related data analysis role.

Must have: Two (2) years of experience with the following: basic programming knowledge; deep learning tools such as Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch, or Torch; big data tools such as Pyspark, Hadoop, ElasticSearch, or Apache; analytics tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Dask, or Polars; and Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, or Cassandra.
