As a Test Engineer, you will develop and document test plans for newly developed or current hardware and solutions products. You will partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership. You will also create test plans that include resource requirements based on inputs from Development and Marketing. Finally, you will work with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and test coverage across multiple test organizations.
•Assist in collecting test requirements and creating basic test plans and test cases
•Follow risk management plans and execute test automation scripts
•Work on assigned test engineering tasks according to project plans including protoyping for testing, software coding, schedule, budget and component cost targets
•Document text execution progress and issues
•1 to 2 years of relevant experience
•Basic understanding of hardware and software system architecture and interactions and apply it to resolve issues
•Enthusiastic about learning new tools, languages and operating systems
•Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets
•Bachelor’s degree
