AWS operates 25 global regions with many new regions planned. To meet specific security needs, connection with some of these regions is channeled through specialized cross domain solutions. On this team you will deliver innovative solutions that allow AWS customers to develop for and interact with these enhanced security regions with minimal friction.Our engineering teams are supported by product managers, program managers, and principal engineers who you will engage with regularly.This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.Key job responsibilities

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of building complex software systems experience
- 2+ years of contributing to new and current systems architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
