The Energy Marshal will be responsible for all aspects of the energy isolation program to meet the project's needs. Working collaboratively with our construction and commissioning teams, you will ensure that all isolation and energization activities are well coordinated and completed to highest standards of performance and safety. In your role you will report directly to the Construction Manager and work across all projects on the site to ensure consistency in the planning and execution of the energy isolation program.
Required Qualifications
Experience in MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) construction, construction quality manager, commissioning expertise, quality control testing, preferably in data center construction or industrial construction reliant on specific installation practices and adherence.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft 360 Suite, BIM (building information modeling), Bluebeam, and construction software tools as needed. Proficient in using data analytics and internal reporting tools, such as PowerBI, Compass Cx and other statistical inference tools.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities:
Utilize Energy Isolation process to implement an Energy Isolation Program across the campus and project.
Establish and manage an Energy Isolation assurance process, closing any gaps identified in assurance audits.
Participate in High Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings related to Energy Isolation.
Ensure approval processes for proposed Energy Isolation procedures are in place.
Collaborate with the Authorizing Energy Marshal to establish an Energy Isolation Permit process.
Review Statements of Work (SOWs), Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and Scripts, identifying all energy sources.
Determine if group or individual Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) will be required.
Verify qualifications, training, and personal protective equipment (PPE) of personnel performing energy isolation work.
Act as an independent authority for stopping unsafe work practices related to Energy Isolation.
Liaise with operations to manage energy isolation activities that may impact data center core operations.
