Key job responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of Security Engineers responsible for the security of Amazon devices including e-readers, tablets, multimedia smart-home controllers and other IoT devices.
* Lead the strategic direction and evolution of the Device OS/platform Security team, including setting goals and establishing priorities and metrics.* Develop a healthy and collaborative culture and enable the team to deliver results.* Lead improvements to internal programs and processes.
* Write and deliver high-quality documents for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Drive the adoption of security processes, automation, and tooling to improve operational efficiency.

- 5+ years of experience leading, managing & developing high performance teams
- 5+ years of progressive experience within a software security team or similar operating environment
- BA/BS in computer science, information security, related discipline, or equivalent work experience

- Experience and involvement with development team(s) that delivered commercial software, services, or hardware devices
- Experience with consumer devices and their operating systems
- Experience partnering and influencing cross functional engineering, and testing teams to drive security improvements in complex environments
- Hands-on knowledge of information security technologies such as security design review, threat modeling, risk analysis, and software testing techniques.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
