Process Engineer

As a Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leading improvements related to safety, quality, service and cost(productivity)
- Identify and implement cross functional projects, plans and programs in support of business strategic plans for new process start-ups, new process technology integration, aggressive cost reduction and value stream improvements utilizing continuous improvement methodology
- Participate in relevant corporateprograms/initiatives,complies with professional and quality standards, complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards
- Perform root cause analysis and apply systematic problem-solving skills
- Willingness to support occasional weekend and off shift support
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s of Science degree or higher in engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- One (1) years of experience in Waste Water Treatment
- Five (5) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience in Conveyor and Elevator systems to move bulk material
