Job Description
  • Lead and manage the month end close, review the full legal entity transactions include accounts payable, general ledger, P&L, Balance sheet, accruals, flux analysis etc. in Asia Pacific countries.
  • Lead the timely preparation of reporting packages, financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and India GAAP.
  • Lead and manage India tax and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Manage Internal audit, SOX compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Manage External audit and Treasury.
  • Provide business support to Go to Market, operational and functional department heads to identify cost drivers and achieve Profit and loss targets.
  • Flux analysis on actuals vs budgets. Provides financial insights into business decisions.
  • Initiate and lead financial dashboards to business stakeholders
  • Revenue accounting/ Billing/ Revenue Operations
  • Lead and manage outsource service providers on accounting, tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide guidance to business stakeholders on policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, finance teams, and all business stakeholders in Asia Pacific and Global.
  • Lead and implement accounting policies, standards, processes, internal controls and corporate projects.
  • Lead and implement improvements to streamline, standardize, scale and automate processes, procedures and controls.
  • Be the subject matter expert to mentor the team
  • Thought leadership and implement Finance transformation
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent. CPA, CIMA, CA, CIMA, ACCA
  • 15 years of experience with at least 4 years in a big 4 audit firm and at least 5 years in general accounting and some FP&A in a complex, multi country global organization.
  • Experience managing internal and outsource teams.
  • Demonstrated capability to understand accounting outcomes and explain accounting treatment.
  • Strong knowledge in US GAAP and India GAAP and experience in preparing financial statements
  • Proficiency in tax compliance and familiarity with relevant India tax laws and regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Additional knowledge of APJ countries and Shared Service experience a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and FP&A business support experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team orientated environment with teams from different countries and cultures.
  • Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
