What you’ll be doing:
Oversee all Deals Desk operations; through a combination of automation and standardization, scale the deal flow process for optimal deal velocity
Find opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in deal management
Partner with Sales, Legal, Procurement, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and various Business Units to structure deals for new and existing business models
Negotiate directly with customers or vendors regarding key financial terms as necessary
Lead the risk assessment process for all deals, new customers, new vendors and ongoing risk assessment for existing customers and vendors.
Ensure alignment with company policy and financial goals
Lead a team of 4 Accounting deal reviewers – for both revenue and purchasing contracts. Review related accounting conclusions
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from a leading university in Finance or Accounting
Active CPA or equivalent qualification
15+ overall years with a combination of public accounting and related industry experience
6+ years of people leadership
8+ years with a technical accounting/contract volume focus
Demonstration of continual management progression and leading of teams
Executive presence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the Company
Strong US GAAP technical accounting base
Strong understanding of financial, legal and operational risks
Familiarity working in a public company SOX-compliant environment
Ability to work at the speed of light
