As a System Development Engineer in Data Center Procurement Governance (DCPG), you will play a critical role in turning that vision into reality.Key job responsibilities
1.System Design and Architecture - analyse and understand complex business requirements, design scalable, secure and fault-tolerant software architecture, identify and recommend optimal technologies, frameworks
2.Software Development - develop high quality, maintainable and efficient code
3.Automated Testing, Deployment - ensure comprehensiveness, end to end to ensure reliability and stability of deployed systems
4.Performance Optimisation, Scalability - optimise system performance, implement strategies to handle increased load and traffic, identify and address bottlenecks
5.Continuous Improvement and Innovation - staying up to date with industry trends
You will operate effectively in an ambiguous environment and drives structure without constraining business objectives. You have a demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects and driving them to completion.A day in the life

-Supplier Risk Program: Manage and iterate on our third-party supplier risk program to enable the identification, qualification, mitigation and monitoring of risks across the AWS datacenter construction supply chain

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
