We are seeking a skilled and creative corporate video editor to join our internal video production team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating original edits from raw footage, refining rough cuts, and delivering polished, professional-grade videos that meet our clients' high standards. You will also be expected to put the finishing touches on your own edits and potentially those of other editors. This position requires you to use your technical expertise and artistic vision throughout the entire post-production process, from initial assembly to final delivery. The role demands the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with clients and team members.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality finishing edits on internal and external corporate videos, ensuring consistency and visual appeal.
  • Apply color correction and color grading to enhance the look of footage.
  • Create motion graphics and compositing effects to enhance video content.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and implement feedback.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth post-production workflow.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging editing techniques.
  • Edit efficiently to meet tight deadlines, knowing when and where to compromise without sacrificing overall quality.
  • Demonstrate ability to work both independently and in a client-supervised environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Here's what you'll need
  • 3+ years experience as a video editor, with a focus on finishing and color work.
  • •Expertise in current editing software such as Media Composer, Premiere Pro, and Resolve.
  • Strongnderstanding of color theory and its application in video post-production.
  • Proficiency in creating motion graphics and basic compositing.
  • Excellent eye for detail and ability to maintain consistency across projects.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work both independently and under client supervision.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience with advanced compositing software such as After Effects, Fusion, or Nuke.
  • Good understanding of color workflows and color spaces.
  • Familiarity with audio post-production techniques.
  • Understanding of various video codecs and delivery formats.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment or with corporate clients.
  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to juggle several projects at once in a highly efficient manner.
  • An understanding and commitment to providing a superior service to our clients, both from a technical and creative point of view.
  • Experience with both PC and MAC platforms.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
