What You’ll DoWhat You’ll Bring
- Collaborate with the team for modeling and design of mechanical components and assemblies including plastics, sheet metal, heat sinks, insulation systems, magnetic components, high voltage connectors, fasteners and other components
- Support with Mechanical Design Analysis including thermal, CFD, structural FEA, design for assembly and design for test
- Participate in all aspects of solving electronics packaging issues including: electrical isolation, sealing, thermal management, interconnection, shock and vibration management, electromagnetic interference (EMI), RF communications, etc.
- Cooperate closely with other mechanical, systems, electrical, digital control, manufacturing, industrial design, and test engineers to take designs from prototype through mass production
- Assist in engineering prototype builds and component fabrication
- Prepare engineering test plans for designs
- Create template drawing packages and manufacturing instructions for parts and assemblies
- Ongoing studies in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
- Reliable and Independent working mindset
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and technical possibilities
- Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- Analytical mindset, hands on approach and problem-solving oriented
- Fluency in English
- Previous internship and/or project experience is a plus
