Key Responsibilities:
    • Data Management:
    • Leverage ERP system to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data required for various revenue analysis.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all revenue-related reporting by also understanding and navigating through various Company used ad servers and platforms.
    • Working with large reports, extracting data from relevant systems, analyzing the data and proposing the relevant journal entry.
    • Revenue Models & Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain advanced revenue models applying ASC 606 guidance.
    • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue close processes, ensuring all revenue is recognized in accordance with company standards and regulations. Including but not limited to preparing journal entries, reconciliation, and flux analysis.
    • Provide support for internal and external audit related tasks
    • Analyze current and past revenue trends, identifying opportunities for increased profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX principles.
    • Reporting:
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports detailing revenue performance against targets, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Company to understand revenue impacts and discrepancies.
    • Oracle System Expertise:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle-related questions within the department.
    • Drive Oracle-based projects to enhance revenue recognition and reporting processes.
    • Work closely with IT to ensure Oracle systems are always available and running efficiently.
    • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize revenue recognition and forecasting in efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects to implement these recommendations.
    • Training & Development:
    • Document and provide training to new team members on Oracle software and revenue recognition processes.
    • Stay updated on latest Oracle updates and best practices to ensure the company utilizes the system to its maximum potential.
Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. CPA preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Revenue Accountant role or similar accounting role.
    • Oracle Fusion experience is preferred, but not required.
    • Salesforce experience is highly preferred, but not required.
    • Deep understanding of revenue recognition standards and regulations (US GAAP).
    • Proven ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
    • Capable of juggling multiple high priority tasks while maintaining high attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
