As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your attention to detail and technical skills will ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure efficient assembly processes and timely delivery of products. In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring the accurate assembly of mechanical components and systems. Your ability to follow assembly instructions and perform quality checks will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and functionality of assembled products
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues to maintain production efficiency
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve assembly processes and procedures

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE • High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques and tools
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
WE VALUE • Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
• Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

• 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
