As a Global,you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing and determining applicability of global compliance regulations related to Microsoft Devices Supply Chain. You will develop, manage and sustain a compliance regulatory roadmap, communicating regulatory developments and requirements to relevant internal teams for implementation purposes.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in business, legal/regulatory, compliance, audit/consulting firmOR equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in managing regulatory compliance, preferably in the consumer hardware industry
  • Experience working with various countries and cultures, attending industry meetings across the globe
  • Strong and broad knowledge of global supply chain regulations and standards, such as manufacturing, eco-design, Basel Convention, energy-star, waste, etc.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and requirements to different audiences and levels
  • Excellent program management skills, with the ability to plan, execute and deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, self-motivated and autonomous, with a strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and change, with the ability to make decisions and adapt to new business models.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, assess and determine applicability of global compliance regulations related to Microsoft Devices Supply Chain
  • Document and maintain regulatory compliance requirements and timeline updates
  • Develop, manage and sustain a compliance regulatory roadmap, communicating regulatory developments and requirements to relevant teams
  • Work with internal stakeholders in the implementation of regulatory requirements
  • Work with trade associations and industry groups to understand and influence regulatory developments and industry positions
  • Share trade associations positions with internal teams for awareness and input
  • Oversee coordination of internal stakeholder engagement on key regulatory developments affecting our hardware branded devices, in addition to its batteries and packaging
  • Stay abreast of the latest compliance trends, technologies, and best practices, and share them with internal teams and external partners.
  • Assist internal and external teams clarifying regulatory reporting questions and timelines, as well as be the point of contact for external reporting audits
