Acacia designs intelligent transceivers using advanced signal processing and photonic integration for the 100G, 400G and 1T bit speed fiber optic transmission market deployed in data center, metro, long-haul and ultra-long haul telecommunication networks.


What you'll do:

As a member of the Silicon Photonics Engineering team, you will be a key contributor of a small, dynamic group that characterizes advanced photonics chips for optical communications products. You will assist in the design and testing of photonic components and circuits on die, wafer and assembly levels.


Who you’ll work with:

You will work directly with the Design, NPI and Operations Teams, supporting calibration/test software, relational databases for storage and retrieval of manufacturing data, automated data handling systems and intranet APIs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ yrs experience with a BS and/or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, electrical engineering, physics, or other relevant major.
  • 3+ years of experience in .NET or other C based language programming
  • 3+ years of experience with database design and SQL
  • 3+ years of experience with automated test equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in electrical, optical, RF and/or digital testing and high volume manufacturing
  • Web programming and/or Python 3
  • Experience with wafer handling and/or probe testing platforms
  • Experience with database administration and query performance analysis in SQL Server and/or MySQL
  • Experience with ASP.NET, REST APIs or any other back-end frameworks
  • Experience with test equipment communication interface layers (GPIB, USB, LAN, VXI-11, socket)
  • Experience using source control tools (Git, Perforce, Bitbucket)
