You will be responsible to develop large and complex data architecture, composed of models, policies, rules or standards that govern which data is collected and how it is stored, arranged, integrated and put to use in data systems, including the design, build and management of data infrastructure to address business requirements
You will be responsible Create sound project plans with the business by engaging with multidisciplinary teams, and by identifying, managing and mitigating risk
You will be responsible to develop relationships across the business to understand data requirements, applies deep technical knowledge of data management to solve business problems in areas where solutions may not currently exist, necessitating new solutions / ways of working / technologies and proactively articulating these to the business
Your key responsibilities
- L2/L3 Lead Engineer to support Enterprise Application by analysing & debugging issues
- Lead team members, assign work and drive production support delivery
- Reproduce issues to be able to debug & suggest a fix or workaround
- Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent issues outside of regular business hours.
- Provide technical support for production systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks, system outages, and other critical incidents.
- Maintain and enhance applications built using Insurity Policy Decision Evolution SaaS product and integrated systems.
- Demonstrated ability to triage & resolve technical production issues.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with good communication and presentation skills.
- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide timely solutions.
- Demonstrable understanding of high-quality coding and testing practices.
- Leveraging deep understanding and adoption of Agile software delivery techniques and technologies including Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- General working knowledge with the Cloud Platform and SaaS products
Skills and attributes for success
- 5 years of Insurity product hands on experience on maintenance and support projects handling development, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment.
- Experience in .Net 4.x, primarily VB.Net
- Experience in JavaScript for UI dev maintenance changes
- Experience in SOAP / XML processing and
- Experience in NHibernate + proprietary ORM
- Experience in MySQL Relational databases
- A team player with solid communication skills, excellent at problem solving, troubleshooting, and embracing new challenges
- Positive attitude and the ability to remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
- Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices and ITIL Process.
- Experience in using Service Now, Incident, Service Request and Change Management Process.
- Have exposure to working in shifts and on-call support.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Education in Information Technology or equivalent working experience
- Flexible to work in shifts (India daytime and/or UK daytime/or US daytime) and On Call Support on a roster-ed rotational basis
- 5 years of Insurity product hands on experience
- 5 years in .Net 4.x, primarily VB.Net
- 2 years experience JavaScript
- MySQL Relational database
- Insurity Policy Decision Evolution
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Hands on experience in UI Dev proprietary Insurity Workbench tool
- Strong knowledge of Insurity Form configuration Tools (Forms Authoring Tool, Forms Index Tool, Fill-in Manager, EFI processing Tool Suite, Visual Instream)
- Should have used Insurity ISL/DSL
- Should have used Insurity Workbench or Visual Studio / TFS for version control
- Experience in Net 4.x, C# as secondary skill set
- Experience on SOAP / XML processing
- Should have used NHibernate + proprietary ORM
- Hands on experience in UI Dev Experience in ko.js, durandal and require.js
- Good understanding of Cloud platforms Azure, AWS
- Good understanding of SaaS Insurance products
