As a Senior Field Service Technician - Fire Alarm here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of fire alarm systems. You will be responsible for conducting tests, inspections, and maintenance on fire alarm systems, identifying any issues or malfunctions, and providing necessary repairs or replacements. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall safety and security of our customers' properties. You will report directly to our Fire Alarm Supervisor and work out of our designated location in Orlando. This position requires you to work on-site, ensuring that fire alarm systems are properly tested, inspected, and maintained according to industry standards and regulations. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the safety and well-being of our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting regular tests, inspections, and maintenance on fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulations.
• Identifying and troubleshooting any issues or malfunctions in fire alarm systems.
• Performing necessary repairs, replacements, or upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
• Documenting all test results, inspections, maintenance, and repairs accurately and maintaining proper records.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing schedules, maintenance activities, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries related to fire alarm systems.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, codes, and regulations.
• Certification in fire alarm testing and inspection.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience with Honeywell fire alarm systems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.
