What you’ll do:
Operationalisation of HR Policy and regulatory impacts.
Incident management, escalation & governance.
End to end risk & control planning, execution, awareness, governance and reporting.
Management of Issue & Corrective action plans.
Involvement in the Manager Control Assessment and addressing discipline related path to control effectiveness.
Business Continuity planning.
Reporting to the WITA Control Head, whilst partnering, challenging and driving risk remediation action with the respective WITA discipline heads.
Delivering a monthly Risk and Control update presentation which will be communicated to stakeholders.
Being a subject matter expert and first point of contact for aligned WITA organisation on all Risk & Control processes and policies.
What we’ll need from you:
Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary.
Experience in working in a Risk and Control Environment (eg: Compliance/Audit/Risk/Other in-business Risk and Control Areas).
Experience of preparation and presenting of material to senior stakeholders.
Relationship management experience and ability to interact with various stakeholders across different geographies and respond rapidly to urgent requests to fulfil business needs.
Strong ability to make data understandable and useful for stakeholders by displaying data in interesting and engaging ways.
Experience using Microsoft products with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of operational HR would be an advantage.
Understanding of risks associated with technology and operational risks associated with the use of technology/software and vendors would be an advantage.
Experience working with and supporting risk identification in project and change management and new technology rollouts would be an advantage.
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.
