Job Responsibilities - Combine major responsibilities across projects and initiatives which improve the Developer Experience and our Control obligations, working directly with Developers and Architects
- Review proposed Open Source Collaboration, in conjunction with our IP and Legal teams and ensure effective management of our Public Github portfolio
- Lead initiatives that include risk, audit, compliance, strategy, workflow and process improvements. The tasks involve leading working groups to discuss, solution and execute changes within the technology environment
- Run Enterprise Architecture meetings to address risk and controls obligations
- Provide feedback and propose improvements to our strategic architecture initiatives
- Actively contribute to the Commercial & Investment Bank and the firmwide architecture community
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - Good understanding of architecture concepts and the SDLC
- Experience of Open Source management and Github practices
- Experience of implementing controls across complex technical environments
- Excellent communication skills and good presentation skills with the ability to relate and influence the junior and senior stakeholders
- Collaboration skills and the ability to work on lots of things at the same time (subject to a lot of interruptions), starting and finishing initiatives efficiently
- Ability to tackle architecture problems independently with little to no oversight
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect with flexibility and empathy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - A degree in a technology discipline or relevant work experience.
- Coding skills in any language (Python, Java), Risk and Controls experience, workflows and automation skills
- Formal training or certification on Technology skills
- Experience of Third Party management including SaaS and ASP solutions
- Experience of Public and Private Cloud platform management
- Experience of PyPI, npm and Maven publishing
