Prior experience in building stable, scalable, solutions is required. Prior experience with video streaming, mobile or advertising is a plus. Successful candidates will thrive in fast-paced environments that leverage agile planning techniques, encourage and reward creative design, intelligent risk taking, and find innovative ways to leverage cutting edge technology.As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE 3), you will:* Influence strategy and roadmap through your technical and non-technical insight
* Work with a team of engineers and product managers to understand and refine the scope of incoming projects, and to ensure deliverables meet a high quality bar
* Actively experiment and prototype with novel technologies that improve the customer experience or solve business needs
* Mentor junior team members in career growth and assist in task management and Agile planning
* Work with multiple internal and external engineering teams to learn and apply best practices
* Organize and participate in collaborative Q&A sessions, workshops, presentations to share your technical know-how with the rest of the team

- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in OTT / video streaming industry is preferred
