As an Associate - Client Services - Alternatives Client Account Management within our dynamic team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives, and ensuring their consistent accomplishment
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire client servicing lifecycle, including onboarding, day-to-day support, and off boarding for clients investing in alternative strategies.
- Field inquiries from Bankers, Client Advisors, HNW Investors & internal stakeholders regarding JPM’s Alternative investment offerings
- Research, follow-up and resolve escalated client issues and problems through effective interaction with bankers, product partners, operations areas, and other partners in a timely and professional manner
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates on account status.
- Monitor client accounts to ensure compliance with investment guidelines and company policies, including KYC and tax refreshes
- Implement a comprehensive tracking system to ensure all client queries are systematically logged, monitored, and addressed in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals for client servicing and onboarding across various alternative strategies.
- Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing client experience and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the client experience by improving response times through automation and process refinement.
- Organize regular knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to keep the team updated on the latest trends, products, and strategies in alternative investments.
- Create and maintain a internal resource library with best practices to ensure superior Client Service delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Graduate or postgraduate degree, an MBA in Finance or Customer Relationship Management.
- At least 8 years of experience Asset/Wealth Management with a background in Investor Relations/Client Services and a focus on Alternative products (ex: registered funds, private funds)
- Experience working with fund administrator / transfer agents
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate financial concepts confidently and intelligently
- Ability to develop strong client and internal relationships and a deep understanding of client servicing needs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across business areas to achieve result.
- Highly attentive, with excellent follow-through, flexibility, and exceptional grammar and English skills
- Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze, synthesize, and interpret data
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Proficiency and experience in automating processes using tools such as Alteryx and programming languages like Python is highly desirable
