The role will require a detailed understanding of Treasury activities and will contribute to and help support the various BAU activities such as:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage forward looking processes including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results against plans monthly
  • Lead a team in conducting month-end close processes including the consolidation of flash estimates, monitoring general ledger bookings, and creating detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management
  • Generate analytics for quarter end flash results, related highlights, executive management reports as well as contribute to monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Prepare/present to senior management and stakeholders on using metrics to evaluate and drive business decisions
  • Implement financial initiatives and manage work of the department ensuring appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place
  • Help drive forecast improvement and automation initiatives, along with the development of new analytical tools
  • Partner with the revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or control
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Treasury FP&A and forecasting experience.
  • Good understanding of portfolio management, Treasury function and Funds Transfer Pricing process
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, with the ability to converse with a wide variety of people across functions / seniority
  • Strong team player, able to collaborate across multiple functions and act as a partner
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business units / functions and deliver results
  • Demonstrated financial modelling skills with the ability to drive top down strategic and operational plan
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships and interact at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to take ownership, improve processes and show continued progress

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
