As a Tax Services Senior Staff, you will be a part of our Financial Services practice. This position offers excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement to the right candidate.

Your key responsibilities

As a senior tax staff, you will participate in multiple and challenging tax consulting engagements and to contribute to the delivery of innovative tax compliance support for our diverse clients.

• Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.
• Develop and deliver innovative tax compliance products with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations.
• Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and ensure outstanding client service. Team with tax professionals to provide comprehensive tax services.
• Participate in and contribute to attaining team goals.
• Thoroughly and accurately analyze information.
• Prepare practical and creative solutions to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
• Encourage communication and effectively supervise team members.
• Make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas.

• To qualify for the role you must have
• a bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics
• an accounting designation
• a minimum of 3 years of relevant Canadian tax compliance experience or the equivalent experience in business or industry
• excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
• a commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• previous experience in the financial services industry/sector is an asset
• Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated and driven team player
