AS A SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL:
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions. Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  • Work closely with Software Engineers across various teams and Product Managers to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle.
  • Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
  • Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.
A SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE IS EXPECTED TO HAVE:
  • 7+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise driving medium to large scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions.
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities.
  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle especially in earlier phases when product or architecture are not yet well defined
  • Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.
  • BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $258,750.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
