Provide cross-functional leadership and collaborate with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions. Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
Work closely with Software Engineers across various teams and Product Managers to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle.
Manage cross functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly.
Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.
Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements.
A SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE IS EXPECTED TO HAVE:
7+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise driving medium to large scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions.
Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities.
Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle especially in earlier phases when product or architecture are not yet well defined
Able to identify gaps in solutions, debate technical approaches, and weigh in on product vs. technology tradeoffs.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.
BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
The estimated base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $258,750.
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
