  • This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.
  • Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must ​relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
  • This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50%.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related technical engineering experience

    o OR Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related technical engineering experience

    o OR Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, or related field

    o OR equivalent experience.

  • +years experiencewith mission critical systems likedatacenter, healthcare, oil, military, utilities
  • +years experiencewith designing systems and/or developing products for industrial or mission critical environments.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in mechanical, electricalengineering, architecture
  • Experience with cross-disciplined systems design (electrical, Information Technology (IT)/Telecom, supervisorycontroland data acquisition).
  • Experience withData center thermal systems design, analysis, and optimization of cooling systems for data center environments, hydronics, cooling distribution, liquid to liquid and liquid to air heat exchangers.
  • Data Center ElectricalSystems design,energyback-up and uninterruptedpower supply,mediumvoltageswitch gear, low voltage power distribution

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for data center applications, such as structural engineering, thermal management, cooling, airflow, and acoustics.
  • Perform engineering analysis, simulation, and testing tovalidatethe functionality, performance, and reliability of the products and solutions.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, such as design specifications, drawings, test plans, test reports, and patents.
  • Support the fabrication, assembly, and installation of the products and solutions in the data center environment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of the products and solutions in case of issues or failures.
  • Research and evaluatenew technologiesand trends in the mechanical engineering field and data center industry.
  • Communicate and present the project status, results, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Embody our
