Responsibilities:

  • Oversee responsibility for the markets and treasury businesses (oversee closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period with the Controller and team)

  • Technical lead for the firm on all capital and liquidity items; ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines;Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members

  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, etc.) for capital and liquidity based on local statutory and regulatory reporting guidelines

  • Lead the creation of the annual Pillar 3 report and associated quarterly reporting

  • Partner with revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and controls

  • Represent the firm in dealings with clients and external audiences including CBA forums

  • Partner with internal and external audit

  • Lead and oversee all staff within the relevant team

  • Responsible for all risk and controls items within the team

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related financial and regulatory experience

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines

  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred
