Job Description
If the unknown is still interesting for you – you can perform cutting edge light and matter interaction research, raise your ideas for inspection solutions and harness the strength and resources of a large international company to drive them into implementation in an extremely multidisciplinary and complex semiconductor inspection machine. You will be a part of a large physicists’ community mobilized to a mutual success in a highly competitive and innovative industry.
Whatyou'll be doing?
- Perform Research of light interaction with complex matter structures (extensive simulation, deep analytical modeling and complex experimental validation).
- Physical study of optical scanning microscopy configurations for defects detection over advanced semiconductor structures
- Suggest solutions (HW / algorithms / flows) to enable inspection of challenging layers for our optical inspection tools.
- Technological support for complex customer demonstrations and evaluation activities.
What you should have?
- PhD. / M.Sc. in Physics
- High analytical skills. Ability to research, analyze and understand complex physics problem (physical and mathematical aspects). Ability to do deep analytical work independently.
- Interpersonal capabilities – ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and lead without authority.
- Strive for excellence. Setting and pursing high bar goals.
Advantages:
- Prior work experience in advanced optical microscopy
- Experience in Computerized Electro Magnetic simulations (Maxwell equation solver)
- Wide knowledge of semiconductors physics
