Core Responsibilities:

Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and prioritize requirements and integrate them into the software development lifecycle.

Implement and maintain tool/portal, processes, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our application and infrastructure.

Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate potential risks.

Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Automate processes and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous monitoring and remediation of security issues.

Monitor and analyze security logs, alerts, and reports to identify and respond to potential security incidents.

Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Skills & Experience:

Security first mindset, knowledge of security principles

Experience with various programming and scripting languages:

Python, Java, HTML, PostgreSQL, YANG.

Experience with:

Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins/Azzure Devops, Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Kafka

Enterprise LAN/WAN knowledge and experience: routing, switching, firewalls (CCNA+ level)

Experience of administration and development/scripting on Linux operating systems

Knowledge of cloud solutions (Azure/AWS) and cloud networking

Knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices, including encryption, authentication, and access control.

Understanding of networking and TCP/IP stack

Familiarity with working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and remediate security risks and vulnerabilities.

MSdegree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related subject
