What you need to know about the role-

Your day-to-day

  • Product Change Review:Administer the product launch review process while effectively collaborating with Product and Policy stakeholders.
  • Risk Assessment:Conduct and update risk assessments, identify control gaps, recommend enhancements, and escalate critical issues to stakeholders.
  • Issues Resolution:Lead issue identification, root cause analysis, impact assessment, remediation planning, and closure management.
  • Audit & Exam Management:Respond to Internal and External Audit and Testing Engagements (e.g., Second Line of Defense reviews, and Regulatory Examinations)
  • Management Reporting & Awareness:Track progress, escalate blockers, assess risk exposure, and advise senior management on risk and control weaknesses.

Your day to day

In your day to day role you will...

  • Lead cross-functional workstreams, managing projects and ensuring effective risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and control.
  • Develop and execute control test plans, perform control testing, and maintain risk heat maps and process-level views.
  • Enhance the control environment by identifying emerging risks, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining SLA reporting.
  • Manage risk management tools (ServiceNow, Sphere, etc.), maintain risk inventory, and support other BRCL functional areas.

What do you need to bring

  • Experience in Audit, Compliance and Risk Management, and Control Testing Methodologies (preferred).
  • Advanced research and analytical skills such as an ability to assess and analyze large amounts of data with a high attention to detail, identify patterns, trends, & pitfalls, and create reports on critical information.
  • Problem Solving Skills that include operating independently while managing multiple competing priorities with difficult deadlines, and exhibiting a sense of urgency when necessary.
  • Expert oral, written and interpersonal communication skills whereby you convey complex information accurately, clearly, and quickly to all levels of management.
