Job Description:

Controls engineering is responsible for building the next generation firm-wide control plane for our front office desks. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, high-quality web applications for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly web applications that meet business needs
  • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to create high-quality products
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows industry best practices
  • Ensure that applications are accessible, responsive, and performant across a variety of devices and platforms
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance productivity and code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in front-end web development
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Experience with web performance optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with server-side programming languages such as Java or Python
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration tools
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
