Microsoft AI is building foundational models to develop novel responsible and efficient artificial general intelligence. The foundational models require large compute-capacity, and as a Member of Technical Staff - Technical Program Manager you would be responsible to manage the health andand the timelines of mission criticalsoftware and hardware deliverables. Sophisticated tools and techniques are needed tothe reliability, runtime performance, and health of the hundreds of nodes in a supercomputer consisting of thousands of Graphics Processing Unit (GPUs). You will be working closely with model scientistsset requirements, manageand developpractices toachieve the smooth operation of the AI jobs. As a contributing member of the core group ofpretraining researchers and engineers, you would also influenceroadmap of relevant software and hardware components. Your work will directlythe next wave of growth and innovation in AI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+years experiencein engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing large-scale technical projects or programs.
  • Hands-on experience in software development, systems architecture, or other technical roles. Familiarity with coding, development processes, and technical problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • achelor's Degree AND 4+years experiencein engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+years experiencemanaging cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • 3+ years of experience in the technology industry and an understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams
  • Verbal and written communication skills for articulating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Expertise in specific domains in cloud computing or AI
