The Purchasing Specialist is a critical role within the Purchasing department that oversees various purchasing areas such as Marketing, Sales, HR, Facilities, Finance, and more.

As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be:

  • A trusted business value enabler who understands the business requirements
  • The direct interface between Check Point teams and WW vendors
  • Performing market assessment and intelligence gathering to achieve the best commercial and legal terms
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, Execute and manage multiple purchasing projects and requisitions (cost reduction & process improvement projects)
  • Negotiation with vendors, analyzing market trends, initiating price lists, dealing with complex and challenging contracts
  • Purchase orders issuance, Invoice approval management, plan and track operational recurring costs globally
  • Data analysis and real-time decision making, ownership of purchasing processes A to Z
  • Project management skills, meeting deadlines

Qualifications
  • B.A/LL.B - an advantage (preferably in Economics, Accounting, Law, or Business) – a must
  • 2-3 years purchasing, negotiation and project management experience.
  • Work Experience in a Global company – an advantage
  • ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) – an advantage
  • High Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) skills, including data analytics.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation and skills; understanding customer needs (stated and un-stated).
  • Proven ability to work independently under pressure to close projects within timeline.
  • Very organized, efficient and strong attention to detail.
