We deliver components that enable Wi-Fi, Cellular and Ethernet connectivity across many device form factors, including all Windows PCs, Xbox consoles and HoloLens. We define and build end to end user experiences. To achieve this, we work with a variety of technologies across several layers, including user interfaces (UI), core operating system (OS) components, device driver interfaces, industry wireless and wired protocol specifications, and cloud services. A key to our success are the tests and tools we build use to validate new features.As a, you will collaborate with internal and external technology leaders to innovate and be an industry leader in providing reliable, performant, seamless and secure wireless connectivity supporting people centered experiences.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C or C++,
    • OR equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
  • You will design, develop and test Windows features in the networking space, independently driving the engineering planning and execution process.
  • You will provide technical leadership for the team, reviewing and contributing to the specifications and implementations written by other team members, and mentoring other engineers.
  • You will actively participate in technical discussions with industry partners and relevant standard body working groups, representing Microsoft.
