Work with x-functional engineering managers and architects on HW/SW enabling technologiesBuild internal and external instrument specifications requirementReview & influence system DFT decisionsDefine, simulate, and model product performance vs. power, area, cost and schedule.Define, develop, and apply tools, scripts for system modeling and analysis; tool and model development and maintenanceAssess and supervise product system integration risks & implementation trade-offs with early prototype studiesUse schematic and layout tools such as Cadence Concept & Allegro; develop new and novel methods of pre-route mentorshipAssess hi-speed interface needsPredict & prepare for future product system integration & interconnect needsPrototyping, bring-up and debuggingPosition may require some domestic and international travel
Minimum Qualifications
  • You have 10 yrs+ experience in system-level design for consumer electronics and embedded programming experience are strong pluses!
  • You are hands-on in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, manufacturing support, and have crafted and influenced system specification documents
Preferred Qualifications
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with your strong project and time management experience lending to your ability to drive multiple projects concurrently. We are a team of very fast learners across HW and SW engineering fields (be broad) with a highly curious about how and why things work and an outstanding intuition.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
