Core Responsibilities

  • The administration of grant payments around the country, and any miscellaneous incomestreams.
  • Collate and analyze the financial aspects of specific entities – through review and variance analysis of monthly returns;
  • Prepare and analyse the programme level budget and on-going forecasting for the various funding streams, incorporating the annual Programme of Activity (budget) process.
  • Support and assist junior staff members and finance staff.
  • Perform cost analysis and forecasting for the wider Programme costs and budgets;
  • Support the maintenance of the Robotic Processes which continued process improvement.
  • Review of month end reporting packs
  • Work to understand cost factors and variances and proactively work to resolve any issues.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packs for senior management review.

Project work

Active involvement in various projects with the ability to lead projects from the

Role Requirements & Key Competencies

A recognized accounting qualification, with a minimum of 5 years post qualification

Previous experience in project or people management.

Proven ability to multitask, with a flexible and agile approach;

Have a proven ability to organise and manage a range of work activities whiledelivering results successfully and in a timely manner

Demonstrate strong attention to detail, including through the application process forthis position

Strong MS Office skills are desired. Strong MS Excel skills are a minimumrequirement, with advanced skills providing a significant advantage in this role;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate with a varietyof stakeholders, both financial and non-financial;

Highly motivated and enthusiastic – can work on own initiative;

Takes ownership of issues and tasks;

A ‘can-do’ approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet
