As an Electrical Control System Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our engineering projects, driving the design and development of cutting-edge motion systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and designingdynamic motion systems to meet project specifications.
  • Overseeing the entire design process, from requirements specification and feasibility studies to cost estimation and scheduling.
  • Designing various electrical circuits, including motion control and PID systems.
  • Creating electrical designsusing industry-standard tools like OrCAD and AutoCAD.
  • Developing firmwarefor microcontroller and FPGA-based motion controllers.
  • Conducting testing and data analysisusing tools such as MATLAB and Python.
  • Creating detailed drawings, design review presentations, procuring prototype parts, integrating systems, testing prototypes, and handing off to manufacturing.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless integration and testing at both subsystem and system levels.
  • Developing supporting documentation, such as assembly and test procedures, and service manuals.
  • Partnering with suppliersto ensure all design requirements are specified and achieved.
  • Addressing and resolving product issuesthroughout the product lifecycle.


Minimum Qualifications

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and >3 years of related work experience.
  • A strong background in Electrical Engineering.
  • Expertise in analyzing and designing motion control systems.
  • Proficiency in microcontroller and FPGA programming.
  • Experience using design tools such as AutoCAD, with a preference for candidates experienced in 3D design tools like Creo Parametrics.
  • Experience in control loop design considering mechanical disturbance models is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel (<10%).
