Department Overview
Wire Payment Operations (CLS - Continuous Link Settlement)is responsible for the monitoring of
Key responsibilities:
- Monitoring of SWIFT messages held by Sanction Screening platform and follow up with Sanction Screening Governance team to release the SWIFT messages timely
- Provide first point of contact support for email and/or SWIFT and ensure all queries from both internal and external clients are responded in a timely and professional manner
- Support SWIFT Gateway operations and CLS / payments processing
- Review the format of payments which do not qualify for Straight Through Processing (STP) and provide recommendations on correct formatting to follow with SWIFT Standards as the end goal of increasing the rate of STP
- Partner with others in the organization to advise on and support wire payments operations and the end-to-end completion of wires with 100% accuracy
- Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures according to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
- Report / escalate risk issues identified or process gaps
- Assist in UAT, BCP testing and other ad-hoc projects
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional and relevant experience in payment processing
- Strong understanding of SWIFT messages
- Knowledge of international sanctions and compliance policies would be a plus
- Proven customer service skills
- Risk awareness and attention to details / meticulous and strong follow-up skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize effectively based on risk / time criticality of the tasks required
- Highly driven and ability to work under pressure in a time sensitive environment
- Innovative mindset and ability to enhance processes to minimize risk and increase efficiency
- Flexibility to work during public holidays (details to be discussed during interviews)
- Working hours: 10am – 6.30pm / 11am – 7.30pm, 11am – 7.30pm / 12pm – 8.30pm
