Description
In this role, you will take part in the pioneering work of creating and developing simulation models for innovative PHY signal processing and control algorithms which enable cellular modem system design and verification for very high-data rate applications.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and 3 + years of relevant experience.
  • Collaborate across functional teams to define and document project requirements, concepts, model architecture, interfaces and APIs.
  • Design and implement 4G/5G PHY models for pre-silicon simulation and verification.
  • Perform functional and performance verification of the PHY models using internal and 3rd Party test tools as well as test data provided by external network vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Contribute to link-level simulator modeling, meaningful metric testing and Base Station Model architecture and design.
  • Define PHY test cases for new features and drive bring-up and issue resolution.
  • Design and develop robust multi-threaded algorithms with hard real-time constraints, leveraging multi-core processors.
  • Perform real-time profiling and optimization, including necessary redesign of existing implementations.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
