Your job will be focused on supplier identification and selection, conducting Request for Proposals (RFI/RFP/RFQ) which may include eAuctions, contract negotiations and management, supplier onboarding, support of necessary supplier due diligence and overall category management which includes but is not limited to benchmarking, gathering of market intelligence, and supplier reviews.
You will be part of a professional, state-of-the art global Procurement team and reporting to the lead who oversees the sourcing of BOFS products and services for Citi’s Consumer group. BOFS includes products and services such as ATMs, branch equipment, lending services, collections, cash management services and payables and receivables management. This team supports the sourcing of products and services that a core and critical to Citi’s banking operations across our Consumers and Institutional and Corporate Clients.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with the business partners and oversee a portfolio of contracts and internal clients
- Lead category sourcing projects, including supplier identification, tendering, request for proposals and supplier selection
- Manage the contract lifecycle, which include contract negotiations, contract drafting (work orders, statement of works, master agreements), contract renewals, contract renegotiations
- Support overall category management and strategic sourcing activities (benchmarking, gathering of market intelligence, definition of the longer term book of work)
- Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Business, Supplier and other subject matter expters.
- Find ways to optimize the supplier landscape and value that the suppliers bring
- Work globally with a focus on EMEA
What we’ll need from you
- 5-8 years of experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Procurement of BOFS products and services or in a financial firm is a plus.
- Demonstrated business acumen, critical thinking and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication skills in English – both verbal and written
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work individually on a large number of projects – organization and prioritization skills
