As a Area Product Owner - Vice President within Wealth Management Chief Data Office team, you will collaborate with other Project/Program managers, Business and Data Analysts, Business Subject Matter Experts, and Technology teams to drive data strategy, ensure clear priorities and completion of tasks, mitigate risks, and overall leading the project to deliver on business benefits. You will also manage product backlog, write user stories, specifying acceptance criteria for stories, track issues and action items, measuring progress e.g., value delivered to clients in each iteration. Lastly, you need to manage processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate risks for data in a product, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality
Job responsibilities:
- Set product vision and roadmap and collaborate with other Product Owner to align priorities and timeline
- Define and track objectives key results for the product
- Establish and manage relationships with data consumers and business stakeholders to understand their goals and any challenges they have in achieving them
- Be responsible for end-to-end Project Delivery to enhance business strategy, efficiency and governance, and optimization efforts
- Serve as Party and Account subject matter expert and participate in other WM product cabinets to develop and execute data strategies that build and maintain data quality and integrity
- Define and implement common capabilities/micro-services solution to be re-used across the Firm
- Perform data analysis, creates data flows, and provide data sourcing/data mapping to Party and account consumers
- Develop consistent data definitions, define data ‘golden sources’ and create standardization.
- Oversee conceptual, logical, and physical data models that conform to data standards and conventions
- Establish expectations for the required accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data within the product, and remediating issues identified throughout the data life cycle in compliance with Firm-wide policies and standards
- Continue to support the transformation of the organization into an Agile-driven product-based model
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant disciplines
- At least 15 years of experience in data developing, program management, and data analysis roles with multinational banks and/or consulting firms
- Prior experience on mid-sized technology build-out and deployments with accompanying process changes across various regions, including but not limited to Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East Asia, etc.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) technical development methodology
- Experience in creating process and data flows and business requirement documentation
- Background in data management practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and data quality framework
- Excellent leadership skills – of product, programs, projects, teams and/or employees – and can influence people at all levels across business and technology functions
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes, identifying risks and defining solutions
- Client and Account data experience
- Strong ability to work in uncertain operational environment, while staying organized and driving initiatives forward
- Advanced skills with the core Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), process-mapping tools (e.g., Signavio, Microsoft Visio, etc.) and analytical tools like Alteryx

- Strategic thinker with the ability to quickly define and deconstruct problems leveraging strong analytical and end-to-end problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills; Able to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on audience; Experienced in creating presentations for senior management
- Ability to multitask and strong time management skills
- Ability to work both independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Can profile and prepare data from disparate sources using tools like SQL, Python, or Alteryx
- Wealth Management data experience preferred
