Responsibilities:

Experience in Technical Production Support roles preferably within a large scale, global financial services organization.

Experience as a member of a Support group in a high availability / critical environment.

Ability to Analyze and Correct Data.

Experience in deployment of artefacts across the Applications and performing checkout of the apps

Experience in Incident, Problem Management: Incident tracking & reporting; Problem tracking & reporting until resolution to ensure reduction of production Incidents.

Experience in setting up and working with Diagnostics and Analytical tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, ITRS etc. that improves efficiency.

Experience in change and Release Management: Ensure timely Review and Sign off on all application related changes, Ensure proper deployment within the timeline and post implementation Application Availability.

Qualifications:

5- 8years of experience

Basic knowledge or interest about apps support procedures, concepts and of other technical areas.

Participation in some process improvements.

Previous experience or interest in standardization of procedures and practices.

Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.

Understands of how own sub-function integrates within the function and commercial awareness

Evaluates (sometimes complex) situations using multiple sources of information Developed communication and diplomacy skills to persuade and influence

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of issue tracking and reporting using tools

Ability to plan and organize workload

Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder

IT Support experience working in Unix (Sun Solaris or LINUX) & Windows environments.

Ability to Write & Debug Shell scripts, batch scripts and Pearl scripts.

Considerable experience in writing Database queries for generating capacity, performance reports and Adhoc reporting, etc.

Experience supporting RDBMS DB like ORACLE, Sybase, MS SQL & DB2.

Comfortable with Object Oriented Technologies, JAVA, .Net etc.

Working/functional knowledge of DevOps tools, Agile methodology and CICD ( Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)

Preferably support experience in Hbase, Kafka, Neo4J, Akka, Spark and GEMFIRE.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
