What you’ll do:

Your day-to-day will include:

• Design, development and testing of usable software in tight collaboration with the Product owner, team members, stakeholders and management
• Working on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles and application of own judgment
• Building upon domain knowledge and technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise
• Having a logical approach to problem-solving and have the ability to respond to detailed queries
• Working as a fully contributing team member with independent planning & execution responsibilities
• Ability to technically lead a topic independently and take individual ownership of the technical component end-to-end
• As a Gen AI, Pro Code Tools, and IDE Developer with our team, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution of business software development. You will help evolving the IDEs and tools used for building business software with ABAP.
• Follow emerging trends and technologies, particularly in AI, pro-code tools, and evolution of IDEs, and use this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of relevant experience with Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology, majoring in Computer Science or Information Science
• Excellent programming and object-oriented design skills (JAVA, ABAP)
• Solid knowledge of Gen AI, Pro Code Tools, and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), whether through education or personal projects
• Strong in algorithms, data structures and database design concepts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with the team in the design and development aspects for the product
• Ability to work independently, and eagerness to learn and explore new topics
• Understanding of in-memory database, Generative AI, eclipse plugin development and HTML5 are added advantages
• Strong modelling skills using UML, Hands-on experience of writing high quality code along with units test [JUnit/AUnits]
• Goal-oriented team player with good communication skills.
