Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java web applications using Spring Boot within a microservices architecture
Engage in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, and deployment, with a focus on cloud-based environments (such as AWS), ensuring adherence to best practices in CI/CD pipelines with an SDLC framework
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a distributed, global environment to deliver projects aligned with strategic business objectives
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting, rapidly adapting to changes in business requirements and technology landscapes
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging for business users
Qualifications:
A minimum 2-3 years of professional experience building Java-based web applications
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (or similar relational database), including schema design, querying, SQL optimization, and integration
Familiarity with containerization and microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat Openshift)
Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Harness, Git, etc. for automation and efficient management of the software development lifecycle
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication in English
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities swiftly and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks is a huge plus
Proficient in cloud technologies and familiar with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a huge plus
Experience with database management and data integration
Experience working in Financial Services or a related sector
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science or a related field / or equivalent experience
