Key job responsibilities- Create automated test and manufacturing applications using Ignition SCADA, Siemens TIA Portal, and in-house software tools.
- Conduct formal risk assessment and mitigation for safety critical automated systems
- Commission and troubleshoot integrated electro-mechanical systems and electrical harnessing as needed for commissioning and support activities
- Contribute to the overall architecture for a high-performing, connected, safe and maintainable factoryExport Control Requirement:
A day in the life
This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position. You will work with leaders in multiple technology areas across Project Kuiper to define and develop automation systems to meet the program needs. In addition, you will be responsible for project management, cost estimates and scheduling. You’ll have relentlessly high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and you’ll be constantly looking for ways to improve your product’s performance, quality and cost. We want individuals who are ready for this challenge and want to reach beyond what is possible today.

- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years experience developing and deploying automated systems to a production manufacturing environment

- Knowledge of database systems and SQL
- Cross-organizational communication – comfortable evangelizing ideas and concerns clearly and persuasively, in both verbal and written forms
