In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition, vision, design, roadmap, and development of product features from beginning to end. You will help to develop software that provides functional, timing and power models of Intel'sField Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). The significant programmability of FPGAs means that signification amounts of data are required to fully describe its characteristics and there is constant room for innovative software optimization.
As a software developer you will present the opportunity to develop new approaches for using data about our FPGAs, optimizing data structures for performance and memory, and developing new algorithms to optimize the experience for FPGA users.
You must possess the minimum education requirements noted below and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, Computer Science related field or master’s degree in related field.
Minimum Qualifications
1+ years of experience developing and maintaining C++ applications.
1+ years of experience design algorithms using efficient data structures for EDA applications or relevant software.
1+ years of experience software development lifecycle, debugging and software utility tools.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience with FPGA development or modeling.
Experience in semiconductor industry with FPGA architectureand ASIC tools.
This role will require an on-site presence.
