As the Events Management Manager within the Corporate & Investment Bank Events team, you will oversee sourcing, contracting, supplier relationships, logistics, registration management, and the planning and execution of meetings and events across all lines of business. You will also handle a variety of cross-functional tasks, including managing the meeting registration process, supporting meting managers, and coordinating production aspects of events, such as cross-checking rooming lists, managing arrival and departure manifests, and producing repots, name tags and meeting materials. Additionally, you will assist meeting planners as needed and provide on-site coverage for events where appropriate.
Job Responsibilities:
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
10 plus years of experience as a meeting planner
Managed multi-day /complex financial meeting events/conferences
Managed budgets of 500K+
Customer Service oriented with strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to deal with all levels including senior management
Highly organized with strong time management, analytical skills & ability to problem solve and multi task
Meeting planning industry knowledge and/or prior registration management experience required, familiar with basic virtual events
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to deal with all levels including senior management
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office including mail merge
Travel to events and serve as on-site planner support - 30% travel
